My Favorite Smoothie | Il mio Frullato Preferito

My favorite smoothie :

I know I have been quiet for the past two weeks but I went back home for Easter and I couldn’t cook as much as I wanted too. I came back to London  a few days ago, and I moved to a new flat, which is simply perfect! My new kitchen is much better than the old one and today I finally started to cook again.

The recipe that I am sharing with you is very simple, you can prepare it in the morning and have it on the way to the office or to school.  I like to eat my smoothies with a spoon rather than drinking it but you can add a little bit of water to my recipe and it becomes immediately more liquid.

This is seriously my favorite fast and easy smoothie, I used pineapple, which is a really good source of vitamins C and A. In addition a cup of pineapple contains calcium, magnesium, manganese and potassium.

The Perfect Chia Pudding | Il Pudding di Chia Perfetto

The Perfect Chia Pudding :

Today I am going to share with you my favourite fast and easy breakfast. This recipe is perfect because you can prepare it the night before and enjoy it in the morning when you need a fast and easy meal. I usually make it when I have class at 9 am or when I have to catch an early morning flight. I love to prepare also my own homemade almond milk, but you can simply buy it , just make sure it doesn’t have any added sugars. I used also Chia seeds, which is a real Superfood, in fact it contains loads of minerals , such as : Manganese, Magnesium and Phosphorus. It is also very low in calories but rich in fiber and protein. 28 grams of Chia seeds contain 11 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein.

Banana Pancakes | Pancakes alla Banana

Banana Pancakes : I prepared my first pancakes when I was 16 years old and since then I have been trying many different types : blueberry pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, and banana pancakes, my favorite!!! To celebrate Pancake Day, I decided to share with you my healthy recipe for the traditional banana pancakes, made with healthy organic ingredients like oats, almond butter and bananas of course. Bananas are naturally rich in serotonin, the happy-mood brain neurotransmitter, so it will help you to start your day in a positive and happy way. Bananas are also a good source of fiber and pectin that helps the body to get rid of the toxins and heavy metals.

Almond Banana Porridge / Porridge di Banana e Mandorle

Almond Banana Porridge :

I know, I’m kind of obsessed with porridge. I love to have something warm and cozy for breakfast, especially during these cold days in Jackson Hole. I’m trying to prepare a different porridge every morning,  and I have noticed that I had no sugar cravings while skiing, which is truly awesome. Oats are rich in beta-glucan, a fiber that can lower cholesterol levels, can stabilize blood sugar levels and prevent heart diseases, therefore a porridge is not only a super delicious breakfast but it turns out that it’s also very very good for you!

Blueberry Coconut Porridge | Porridge di Cocco e Mirtilli

Blueberry Coconut Porridge :

This is simply my favorite breakfast recipe, i love the combination of the juicy blueberry with the crunchy coconut flakes. Coconut is very rich in dietary fiber and has a very low glycemic index, it helps to fight constipation and it will reduce your sweet cravings.

Raspberry Porridge | Porridge ai Lamponi

Raspberry Porridge :

This is the most fast and soft porridge that I know. The recipe is quite easy and the best thing is that you can prepare it the night before and enjoy it in the morning when you don’t have time to cook a proper warm porridge. I used raspberry because I simply love them and they are rich in fiber and antioxidants, but you can use any choice of berries.

Açai Bowl | Coppa di Açai

Açai Bowl :

This is one of my favourite breakfast as it is very creamy yet healthy and nourishing .

Açai berry is in fact a berry grown in exotic countries such as Brazil and is rich in antioxidants which will make your body healthier and cleaner. This bowl represents a complete breakfast as it has a good portion of carbohydrates, unrefined sugar and protein. I usually like to do it with the açai berry powder but you can find also the berry pulp in many organic shops.
