Meri’s Nocciolata :
I have been working on this recipe for the past few weeks and now, that I am finally happy with the result, I’m going to share it with you. My Nocciolata is a lighter and healthier version of the classic Nutella and it is super delicious on its own or spread it on gluten-free toast and crackers. The main ingredient of my Nocciolata are organic hazelnuts, which are a great source of vitamin E and B and minerals such as: iron, calcium and potassium.

Healthy Easter Eggs :
Today I am going to share with you a very special Easter recipe. These Easter eggs are made with raw cacao powder and agave nectar. Agave is a plant that grows in South and Wester United States and Latin America. I used it because is an unprocessed sweetner with a very low glycemic index, therefore you won’t experience any sugar cravings after having my delicious and healthy chocolate eggs.

Healthy Mini Doughnuts:
This week I have been working on new creative recipes for you guys. Today I am going to share with you my healthy doughnuts. I tried this sweet treats for the first time at the Healthy Being Juicery in Jackson Hole (Wyoming, U.S.A) and I immediately felt in love with it. I tried to recreate it in my kitchen , and my favourite version of it is the one I am sharing with you today, made with coconut and raw cacao powder. I used cashew nuts because they are super healthy and delicious, cashew nuts contain the best fat ratio 1:2:1 for saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated. These nuts are also a super good source of magnesium which helps to lower blood pressure and to fight muscle spasms and headaches.

I’m so happy to share with you one of my favourite recipes : gluten free and healthy brownies made with fresh organic ingredient. I truly love them, especially when combined with coconut or vanilla ice crea (mm so delicious !!! )
I prefer to use raw cocoa powder instead of cacao powder because it contains much more health benefits. In fact the big difference between raw caco powder and regular cocoa powder is that the first one is cold pressed, therefore it keeps all the living enxymines but it removes all the fats. Raw cacao powder is very rich in antioxidants and it contains loads of minerals, such as :iron, manganese, magnesium, potassium, calcium and zinc. In addition raw cacao powder can reduce blood pressure and it can reduce the risk to develop cardiovascular diseases and strokes

My first “sweet treat” on this blog, is a very creamy chocolaty yet healthy mousse. Cacao is naturally rich in antioxidants, sulfur, magnesium, iron and theobromine, which is a stimulant that can treat depression. I use only raw cacao powder as it maintains all the nutrients because is made of cold pressed non-roasted cacao nibs.
