My Favourite Detox Smoothie:

Today I am going to share with you another recipe with persimmons, here in California their season is almost over and I used the last ones I had in my kitchen, to make this fresh and nourishing smoothie. I combined the super sweet taste of persimmons with the strong taste of turmeric. Turmeric has been used in traditional Chinese and Indian medicine to fight infections and inflammations, turmeric is also a very potent antioxidant that can neutralise free radicals.

Cinnamon Cashew Milk: 

Cashew milk is my favourite plant-based milk and I like to use it basically everywhere. I add it to my morning smoothie, to my healthy and vegan sweet treats or to my porridge. This recipe is super tasty and very easy to prepare as you don’t have to drain it like classic almond milk. Cashew nuts are really good for you as they have a very low Glycemic Index and they are a super good source of copper and magnesium.
