Meri’s Nocciolata :

I have been working on this recipe for the past few weeks and now, that I am finally happy with the result, I’m going to share it with you. My Nocciolata is a lighter and healthier version of the classic Nutella and it is super delicious on its own or spread it on gluten-free toast and crackers. The main ingredient of my Nocciolata are organic hazelnuts, which are a great source of vitamin E and B and minerals such as: iron, calcium and potassium.

I love smoothies, I have mine everyday for breakfast with different fresh and organic ingredients. I personally think that fruits like banana or mango can really make your smoothies outragously delicious. Normally I also add some home made granola (the recipe will be posted soon) or some quinoa flakes. The recipe I’m sharing with you today is made with a spoon of spirulina powder, spirulina it’s a real superfood. It is naturally rich in protein : 60 grams of protein in 100 gr of Spirulina powder, more than half a pound of chicken breast!!! Spirulina also contains calcium, magnesium , potassium , vitamin B and iron.

The unsaturated fats in coconut oil differs  from others and more in general plant-based ingredients are totally different from animal-based unsaturated fats that can be really harmful for your body.

One of the most important benefits of coconut oil is its content of lauric acid and other medium chain triglycerides that can really help the body to eliminate harmful bacteria, fight the signs of aging and most importantly it helps the body to absorb vital nutrients and minerals.

I just love lemons, their juice has a very delicious and tasty flavour .  I use them on top of almost everything, i love them on avocados and as a dressing on top of salads or as ingredients of my favorite juices. Lemon has a great taste and brings out the flavors of any kind of food. I love to start my day with lemon water on an empty stomach, because it has many amazing benefits that most are unaware of.
