Meri’s Guide to San Francisco:

San Francisco is one of the more cool, vibrant and beautiful city in America. What I love about San Francisco is the energy that you feel while walking around the city, as well as the calm and relax that you get from the Ocean and the wild nature just outside the city centre. In America, and especially in California you feel that nothing is impossible and that any good idea could work, which is why I would love to move to San Francisco very soon. During my last trip to the United States, I had the chance to visit both San Francisco and Berkeley and here’s the list of my favourite healthy spots.

The perfect breakfast smoothie :

I love smoothies, I have mine everyday for breakfast with different fresh and organic ingredients. I personally think that fruits like banana or mango can really make your smoothies outragously delicious. Normally I also add some home made granola (the recipe will be posted soon) or some quinoa flakes. The recipe I’m sharing with you today is made with a spoon of spirulina powder, spirulina it’s a real superfood. It is naturally rich in protein : 60 grams of protein in 100 gr of Spirulina powder, more than half a pound of chicken breast!!! Spirulina also contains calcium, magnesium , potassium , vitamin B and iron.
