Yesterday evening I organised my first “Organic Meri’ dinner with my closest girlfriends. I really love my new flat, because it has a bright and spacious dining room and the most practical and comfy kitchen.  I decided to dedicate a blog post to our menu, because I  think that planning and organising a dinner is not very easy. When I invite friends or family to have dinner at mine, I always try to serve fresh and healthy dishes and make my guests feel satisfied and happy.

I am so excited to finally share with you one of my favourite restaurants in London. Today I will be talking to you about the cozy and delicious Daylesford Organic. There are two Daylesford restaurants in London, one is located in Pimlico and the other one in Notting Hill. The organic and fresh products cooked and served in the restaurants are grown and daily delivered from their farm in Gloucestershire. You can buy most of their vegetables and fruits, diary products, bakery and so on… right on site from the two restaurants or from Selfridge, alternatively you can order online from the website Ocado.

 Oat and Chocolate Cookies : 

It was such an honor to participate to the fundraising event organized by the “Hult Rise Club” at Hult Business School yesterday. The “Hult Rise Club” organized a delicious breakfast to support the Saath Foundation, which helps children in need. I have to admit that I didn’t expect such a success, but almost everyone loved my vegan, gluten free cookies. Matteo, one of my dearest friend, said that the taste of my cookies reminded to him of his childhood and his grandma’s delicious biscuits. This simply made me feel super happy, because I felt the same way about it and I wanted to recreate my mom’s traditional recipe.

I used loads of almond in this recipe because they are naturally full of goodness. In fact, almonds are rich in flavonoids and vitamin E that combined can reduce the risk of heart diseases and it can really lower the blood sugar and insulin level after meals. In addition the high content of vitamin E can really help to nourish the skin and protect it from UV’s damages.
