I just came back from my trip to Panama and I couldn’t wait any longer to share my pictures and tips with you. This time I traveled with my siblings : Elena, Giulio and Alessandro. Giulio and Alessandro are two great surfers, and I really enjoy organising surf-trips with them. Alessandro, discovered Bocas del Toro, Panama, thanks to a various documentaries about surfing and he has been dreaming about going there for a very long time.

It’s finally time to share with you guys, all the pictures of my trip to Hawaii, in this post I would like to show you all the amazing places that I have visited.
Hawaii is really a magical place, and if you have the chance to go there you really have to visit Kauai.
My friends and I spent 8 days around Big Islands and Kauai, both of them are really beautiful but Kauai is probably one of the most beautiful place I have ever visited in my life.

My Adventures in California:
As you probably all know I moved to California almost two months ago. Precisely, I moved to Berkeley to study Entrepreneurship, Berkeley is located in the North of California and unfortunately the weather is not as good as it is in the South. During this two months I got the chance to travel around California, I visited Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, San Diego, Los Angeles and Napa Valley. In this post I just want to share with you guys a few pictures of the amazing landscapes and beautiful cities that I have visited.

Warm Berry Porridge:
In London, the porridge season has officially started. Even if I truly love to have a fresh smoothie in the morning, when the weather gets colder and the sky is grey, I’ll rather have a warm and cozy porridge packed with vitamins and minerals. For this porridge I normally use blueberries, raspberries and blackberries mixed together. Berries are a very good source of vitamin C, that will boost your Immune System.

The Perfect Pinky Smoothie :
I love smoothies, especially for brekafast. I find it very satisfying yet fast and easy to prepare. Sometimes I even carry it on my way to the gym and have ita s a post-workout breakfast. This fresh and tasty smoothie is perfect to start a sunny and hot Summer day. I used to prepare it everyday when I was in California last year, my brothers simply loved it.

My favorite smoothie :
I know I have been quiet for the past two weeks but I went back home for Easter and I couldn’t cook as much as I wanted too. I came back to London a few days ago, and I moved to a new flat, which is simply perfect! My new kitchen is much better than the old one and today I finally started to cook again.
The recipe that I am sharing with you is very simple, you can prepare it in the morning and have it on the way to the office or to school. I like to eat my smoothies with a spoon rather than drinking it but you can add a little bit of water to my recipe and it becomes immediately more liquid.
This is seriously my favorite fast and easy smoothie, I used pineapple, which is a really good source of vitamins C and A. In addition a cup of pineapple contains calcium, magnesium, manganese and potassium.

You are most probably wondering why coconut oil is a basic ingredient in my recipes, especially in my soups, sweet treats and snacks. Coconut Oil has numerous properties, such as : saturated fats, unsaturated fatty acids; vitamin E; vitamin K and iron.
The unsaturated fats in coconut oil differs from others and more in general plant-based ingredients are totally different from animal-based unsaturated fats that can be really harmful for your body.
One of the most important benefits of coconut oil is its content of lauric acid and other medium chain triglycerides that can really help the body to eliminate harmful bacteria, fight the signs of aging and most importantly it helps the body to absorb vital nutrients and minerals.

Broccoli and Lentil Burger :
This is a quick healthy and vegan alternative to the classic beef burger. I made it with broccoli but you can also use courgette, carrots or cauliflower. I like to serve this dish with some sliced avocado and a little bit of tahini on top. I used lentils because they have many health benefits, its high level of soluble fiber can help to reduce cholesterol, improve the digestive system and lower the risk to develop heart diseases. In addition lentils contains a super high level of protein and very low calories, therefore this dish represents a super light and fulfilling meal.
